SURVEYING
SLAM SCANNING
At Montez Architecture Ltd, we employ cutting-edge technology to conduct precise surveys of historic buildings, ensuring the highest accuracy and detail. Our surveying services utilise photogrammetry and drone surveys, complemented by the latest LiDAR technology from one of the newest SLAM scanning machines. This advanced equipment allows us to capture accurate and comprehensive drawings of historic buildings, which are often characterised by their unique and irregular structures.
Our in-house surveying is not only cost-effective but also delivers superior results. The detailed and beautiful drawings we produce are invaluable for planning and stage 4 drawings. While our equipment is suitable for these purposes, we recommend a full laser scan for projects requiring precise retrofit and off-site construction components. This ensures the utmost accuracy for any elements that need to be fabricated separately and integrated seamlessly into the historic fabric.
Using our state-of-the-art surveying technology, we can overcome the challenges posed by the uneven and irregular nature of old buildings. This approach not only saves time and costs but also enhances the quality of the data collected, leading to better-informed conservation and renovation decisions.
Discover how Montez Architecture Ltd can provide you with accurate, detailed, and aesthetically pleasing drawings for your historic building project, ensuring that every unique characteristic is captured and preserved. Our advanced surveying techniques offer a reliable foundation for both planning and detailed construction phases, making sure your project is executed with the highest standards of precision and care.
